Any Junior that would like to purchase a t-shirt for spirit week must pre-order and pre-pay with either Ms. Turnesa or Mr. Rogers. You can come before school or after school beginning Tuesday, September 30th through Thursday, October 2nd. Ms. Turnesa is located in the athletic office and Mr. Rogers is in Room 305W. If you do NOT pre-pay for a t-shirt, you will not receive one!!! Remember to bring money for your class dues if you still owe!!! Digital Yearbook 2015 is back!! If you want to be involved with filming your memories and being a part of the design for this year's DY, please come to the first informational meeting on Thursday, October 2nd, at 3:00 in room 320W. See Ms. Rosenberg with any questions for DIGITAL YEARBOOK 2015!

Sign-up for the Princeton Review's SAT Practice Test to be given at the Warner Library, Saturday, October 4th, 12:30 - 4:30 PM. Register early to reserve a space by visiting the Warner Library.
Seniors that did not sit for a portrait must do so on October 3rd. You have to call Lors Studio Directly and set up your appointment. Any senior wanting a RETAKE must also schedule an appointment and bring a $10 re-sit fee.
The boys and girls cross country teams meet is today (9/30) in Rockwood Hall. Come out and support the team.
The Warner Library in Tarrytown (directly across from C-Town) is having their book sale on October 18th and 19th. This is an opportunity to get community service hours…please sign up in the Main Office if you’re interested!
Attention - all new SHADE interns. Training is MANDATORY in order to be an intern. The next two trainings are on Monday, Oct. 6 and next Thursday, Oct. 9. from 7:30 -8:30 A.M. in room 303 north. If you are not sure if you were selected for SHADE, please see Mrs. Kaczmarek in room 303 North. If you plan on being an intern in SHADE, you MUST show up for the next two trainings, or you will be dropped.
If you have signed up for the driver’s education program, it will now start on October 6th. A permit is required to participate in the program. If you are still interested in signing up, please see Ms. Reynoso in Mr. Baxter’s office for an application.
And Now For Sports…
On Monday, September 29th, Sleepy Hollow's Varsity field hockey played in a home game against Valhalla high school. In an exciting field hockey match, the Lady Horseman played a tough game, ending the first half in a score of 0-0. The defense held their own, but Valhalla was able to get 2 goals by Sleepy Hollow, ending in a final score of 2-0 Valhalla. Sleepy's goalie Marissa Fortugno had 8 saves for the Horseman. In the last two minutes, Junior forward Hannah McCarthy had a great shot against Valhalla, but the Vikings' goalie was able to make the save. Sleepy Hollow's Varsity Field Hockey plays again against Irvington on Wednesday, October 1st at 4:30.
