The Southern Westchester College Conference is today (4/24) from 6:30 - 9:00pm at the Westchester County Center in White Plains. This is a great opportunity to meet face-to-face with admissions representatives from hundreds of colleges throughout the country. All Sleepy Hollow HS students and their parents are encouraged to attend.

Attention All Students & Staff: The African American Culture Club will be hosting a Coins for Kids fundraiser this week to raise money for UNICEF. On Mon, Wed, and Fri, there will be tables set up outside the student lounge and cafeteria during all lunch periods. All money raised will be donated to UNICEF's South Sudan campaign. Please donate any spare change you have to help the malnourished children of South Sudan. We thank you for your support.
The Literary Magazine Club will meet every Friday in 300 N at 3:05 PM. All members should attend. Also, the final collection deadline for the Journal Drive will be April 28th.

Attention Junior and Senior Members of the English Honor Society: The Induction Ceremony is today at 7:30 in the Auditorium. Juniors being inducted into the English Honor Society need to be outside the auditorium at 7pm. Senior members are encouraged to attend and it is the last opportunity for Seniors to earn points. The Varsity Boys Lacrosse Team lost a very hard fought battle to Byram Hills, 12-10 on Friday. After trailing 7-0 at half-time, the boys rallied with strong defense from Kevin Borden and the rest of the defense. The comeback effort featured precise offense including key plays from Kevin Kern & Jack Weitzner.
At the halfway point of the regular season, the team is now 6 and 2, and they will visit Ardsley tomorrow (4/25).
On Friday, April 21st, the boys track team competed at the Suffern Invitational. Diego Rodriguez ran the top time for the Horsemen in the 200m and also anchored the 4x100 meter relay team. Aaron Cember threw 110 feet in the discus. Sophomore, Jake Garcia, jumped 18-5.25 in the long jump, and Simon Geisker ran 5:02 in the mile. Our next meet is today, April 24th at home.
