• Eating too much salt all the time can lead to high blood pressure, which is not good for us.
• Some foods that are especially high in salt are frozen dinners, pizza, canned soup, pasta sauce, lunchmeats, and fast food. Some frozen dinners have more salt than a person should eat in a day!
• Look for packages that say, “Contains less salt” or “reduced sodium” to cut down on the amount of salt that you eat. You can find out how much salt is in a food by looking on the label for the amount of sodium.

The Homework Center is now open every day after school from 3-4 PM in 300 North and the library. Teachers and TAs are available to assist students with homework, projects, and assignments. Individual tutoring is also available. Snacks are provided. Come to the Homework Center today!

Students interested in becoming a Santa’s helper for the annual Children's Blythedale Toy Drive should attend the interest meeting tomorrow (11/20) in room 201c at 3pm.
Come support the boys’ basketball team and see your favorite teachers and coaches play basketball in Friday’s faculty game. The game starts at 4 p.m. in the high school gym. Admission is $2 for students and $5 for adults. Four students will also have the opportunity to make a half court shot at halftime to win FREE pizza for their entire class. Don’t miss out.

The Sleepy Hollow Players will be presenting their first performance of this year, Out of the Frying Pan. This Performance will take place this Friday (11/21) at 7:30pm, and Saturday November 22nd at 2pm and 7:30pm. Tickets will be available at the door - $10 for adults, $5 for students and seniors.
ATTENTION SENIORS TODAY you must get measured for cap and gown is tomorrow (11/19) in the lobby by the main office. They will be here from 10:30 to 1:30. Please make sure you come down and get measured. Also extra tassels are available for $4.
