Sugar doesn’t do much nutritionally. It provides calories, but doesn’t give us anything else – no protein, no vitamins, and no minerals. That’s why it’s called an empty calorie food. Cutting down on sugar will help cut down on weight gain!

The Math Honor Society will once again be sponsoring the Mathematical Association of America's AMC 10 and AMC 12 Math Competitions on Tuesday, February 2nd. The AMC's are part of a series of exams that culminate with the International Mathematical Olympiad. The Exams are open to everyone. This is a great opportunity to showcase your talents and also challenge yourself. Please see Mrs. Walsh in the Math Office by Thursday, January 7th, if you are interested in signing up.
