And Now For Sports…
The Boys Varsity soccer team won its second game of the year against Ardsley High School on Saturday, September 20th with a score of 2-0. It was a great performance by the Sleepy Hollow players as they dominated the possession aspect of the game. Sleepy had some chances to put the ball in the net early on but could finish them. The score at the end of the first half was 0-0. Senior captain Daniel Yawman scored a goal halfway through the second half on a great assist from junior center fullback Toby Humm. Later on Sleepy scored another goal as Yawman set up senior captain Noah Gould inside the Ardsley 18. Senior goalkeeper Jose Deleg tallied his second shutout of the season and had 4 saves. Some standout players for Sleepy were Yawman, Humm, and senior captain Dann Quezada. The record of the team currently stands at 2-3-3. The next game for the boys is an away game against Keio Academy on Monday, September 22nd. Go Hollow!!
