Our Sleepy Hollow Pioneer Team remains undefeated for the year as we defeated Portchester in basketball on Wednesday, 4/15/15 with a score of 73-58. Our entire team played well on offense and defense. Highlights of the game included Nythia Shibuya playing great defense (she simply would not let 2 opposing team members get the ball from her!) and scoring 8 points for the team. Jiovante Guaba was also great on offense with multiple assists.
Nice job everyone!
On Wednesday, April 15, the Sleepy Hollow Girls Varsity Softball team took the win over Westlake with a final score of 4-3. It was a tremendous team effort with a complete win for Sarah McCarthy and RBI's from Vanessa Onwe and Hannah McCarthy. For the final 3 outs, we saw Shaylin Best with a great catch in center field, then Sarah McCarthy to Whitneyfer Alejo for the double play at first. Great job ladies!
Our next game is Friday, April 17 away at Eastchester.
