You will spend three mornings over a two-week period with a professional filmmaker learning the process of filmmaking from conception to post-production.

The Boys Varsity soccer team, AKA the “Cardiac Kids”, won its last regular season game of the year against Solomon Schechter on Monday, October 21st with a double overtime victory of 2-1. This was Sleepy’s fourth overtime victory of the season. It was a very physical game and was a great performance by the Sleepy Hollow players. It was a game that an ebb and flow where both teams had scoring opportunities throughout. The score at the end of the first half was 1-0 in Sleepy’s favor. The goal was scored off a corner kick by junior Estaban Tarcan and was assisted by senior fullback Owen Gomory. During the second half Sleepy broke down defensively for a couple of minutes and Schechter tied the game up. Hollow continued to press and played some good soccer. In the second overtime period senior midfielder, and co-captain, Luke Colley ended and won the game for Sleepy by one-timing an excellent pass from freshman midfielder Ethan Willens. Senior goalkeeper Jack Corcoran had another excellent game this season in goal and recorded 5 saves. Some standout players for Sleepy were Gomory, Tarcan, junior co-captain Daniel Yawman, junior co-captain Dann Quezada, junior fullback Brendan Murphy, junior fullback Noah Gould, and junior midfielder Guillermo Maxi. The next game for the boys will be a sectional playoff game that is still undecided. Sleepy’s record for the season stands at 8-7-1. Go Hollow!!
