On Sunday, December 10th, the boys track team competed in the Kickoff Classic at the Armory. Max Cover had an outstanding race in the 1000 meters. In the first race of the season, he was 2 seconds off the school record held by Julio German. Max has his sights set on breaking that record at the next meet. Sam Smutek cleared 5 feet in the High Jump and almost 16 feet in the long Jump .Luke Bellas was just a second off his personal best in the 300 meters. He should also surpass that mark in the upcoming weeks. Our next meet is Thursday, December 14th at Rockland Community College. We are competing in the Frosh/Soph Championships.
