Community Service Opportunity
Warner Library will be having their book sale soon! Student volunteers are needed October 19 – October 22. If you are interested in community service hours, please sign up in the HS main office.
The mindful room located in room 213W will now be open every day period 4 as well as period 6.
Driver's Education enrollment is taking place for those who are interested. Applications are available in the assistant principal's office or they can be downloaded from the website.
Attention all students: Interviews for SHADE (Sleepy Hollow Academy for Disability Education) will take place on October 9th and October 10th beginning at 3:15 in Ms. K.'s room - 303 North. If you are interested in becoming an intern, gaining work experience and training in the field of special education, helping people and earning a stipend, then come for an interview. You can pick up an application from Ms. K. Complete the application and bring it to the interview. We will interview students on a first come, first served basis. We look forward to seeing you!
On Tuesday, September 26th, the boys and girls cross country teams competed at Nanuet HS. Even though we lost, there were some good performances. Adam Geisker led the way for the boys placing 3rd overall. Daniel Reimer stepped up and was right behind him. Captain Alssy (Al-C) Polanco, Aiden Baller and Aaron Rosen rounded out our top 5. On the girls side, captain Katie Kudla led the way for the Horsemen and also placed 3rd overall. Nicole Kern was 4th, Jordan Lis was 5th, Maggie Singman was 8th and Ameila Gross was 11th. Our next meet is Tuesday, October 2nd at Pearl River HS.
