On Wednesday, January 7th, the boys track team competed at the Rockland Invitational. Danny Elia continued on his winning ways. In the 55 meter high hurdles, it was a photo finish with Danny placing 3rd overall. He had the same time as the other two finishers. It was also 1/10 of a second off his school record time. Danny didn't stop there. In a come from behind victory, Danny won the 300 in a time of 36.7. That's 1/10 of a second off our school record, set by Harold Gayden in 1982. Both of these records are in jeopardy this season. Our next meet is tonight, January 8th, at Rockland Community College. We are competing in the Dendy Meet.
