The first Literary Magazine Club meeting will take place on October 7th at 3:30 in room 307W. All new and current members should attend. We will discuss meeting dates, club goals, and plans for the 2020 publication of Shadow and Substance.
The Class of 2020 is raffling off a giant basket of goodies! Some of those goodies include SONY headphones, Hydrapeak Tumblers and 7 gift cards to various restaurants in town, just to name a few.
The drawing will be held next Saturday, October 5th, at the Homecoming Game. Tickets are $5 each or 5 for $20. Tickets can be purchased from Mr. Spirelli, Mrs. Katsman or any of the Senior Class Officers.
To all SHADE program applicants, interviews for the program will be held on October 7th, 8th and 10th immediately after to school in Classroom 303 North. Interviews will be conducted on a first come basis and will last no longer than 15 minutes. Ms. Mindy Cohen will continue interviews for as long as students are present. If you are an athlete, consider coming as early as possible in order to be able to get to practice on time. Ms. Cohen will arrive at 2:30 and can meet with you outside of the classroom if you have a free last period on the 7th and 8th. Mandatory training sessions will be held on October 15 and 17th @ 3:15 SHARP in the cafeteria. Please make note of these dates in your calendar. On behalf of the SHADE team, we look forward to meeting and getting to know you.
Come support the volleyball team on Thursday, October 10th for their Volley for a Cure Breast Cancer Awareness pink out game. There will be a donation station, a bake sale as well as giveaways! If you can’t make the game but would like to make a donation, see Mrs. Fallon. We will also be honoring our Seniors Sarah Laub, Jen Stewart and AJ Davis that evening for their senior game! JV will play at 430 and Varsity will play at 6.
