Art club is cancelled for today.
"Red Ribbon Week continues! Did you know? Teens who consistently learn about the risks of drugs from their parents are up to 50% less likely to use drugs than those who don't." Look out for Ms. Donahue & VAASA members today outside the cafeteria during Lunch A & Lunch B to learn more and get involved!
Anyone interested in going to Killington in March must attend a brief meeting at 3:00 in room 209W tomorrow Wednesday 10/31. Permission slips will be posted outside the classroom if you are unable to attend.
The school doctor will be in the health office 9:00 am tomorrow Wednesday, Oct 31st. In order to see the school doctor, students must get a pre-sports physical today. The students are only allowed to come during their free period.
The next Sleepy TED Talks meeting will be on Thursday, November 1 at 3:10 PM in Room 305W. All members must attend. Anyone interested in joining should see Mr. Rogers or Ms. Sarr for details.
Do you want to make a difference in your school or community? Do you want to have your voice heard? Do you want to earn community service hours? Then join PEER IMPACT! PEER IMPACT meets after school Thursdays from 3-4pm in 307W.
All students attending the Italy trip, there will be a brief meeting on Thursday November 1 at 3:05pm in room 305E. The meeting will be short and all must attend for important information and updates.
Spring sports are right around the corner so workout with the fitness club and prepare for tryouts. The club is open to all students whether you play or sport or not. It will start on today and run through November 2nd from 3-5pm. See Mr. Gersfeld if you are interested.
Winter sports will begin on Monday, November 5th. There will be a mandatory meeting for parents & student athletes to be held on Wednesday, November 7th at 7:00 p.m. in the High School Auditorium. Sign-ups for sports will be taking place in PE class this week and in the athletic office.
The midterm elections are on Tuesday, November 6th. Check out the Rho Kappa Voter’s Guide on the bulletin board near 304W. Also, look for Rho Kappa presentations of the guide in your social studies classes. Everyone will have a chance to vote in our Sleepy Mock Election.
