The Math Department is excited to announce that we will once again be offering the AMC Exams sponsored by the Mathematical Association of America. Students are challenged with beautiful, puzzling mathematics questions aligned to our standards at all levels of difficulty. This is a great opportunity for all students. Colleges see AMC participation as a strong indicator of math talent. Students can qualify for higher level contests and compete on a national level. Locally, there is a $200 monetary prize for the first student at Sleepy Hollow High School to qualify for the next level AIME Exam.
The 75 minute Exam will be offered on Tuesday, February 3rd. Please see Mrs. Walsh in the Math Office by Monday, January 12th to register and pick up practice materials. We look forward to a great turnout!
