Congratulations to the Varsity Boys Lacrosse Team.
They had a huge 13 - 4 victory over Blind Brook on Saturday (4/11). Daniel Yawman led the team with six goals and three assists. Harry Bogusz and Kasper Endreny each added two goals and one assist while Brendan Murphy, Pedro Costa and Ethan Wilens each scored a goal. Michael Lopez continues to dominate, winning 18 out of 21 face-offs.
The team will host Pleasantville at the High School field today! Come out and show your support!
On Saturday, April 11th, the boys track team competed in the Ossining Relays. The 4x100m relay team of Esteban Tarcan, John Rivera, Papi Loum and Jon Gomez placed 5th in 48.5 seconds. Shot Putters Aaron Cember, Jordan Brown and Chris Gasparre placed 3rd, while long jumpers Wendall Brand and Matt Dorazio placed 2nd. Wendall had a jump of 20-2. In the most exciting races of the day, the boys 4x200m relay team had a come from behind victory, led by Danny Elia's 22.8 second anchor leg. Not to be outdone, the boys 4x400m relay team overcame a huge lead to win the event. Nolan Samford and Jon Gomez ran career best times, while Danny Elia ran a 51.1 second 400 to win the event. Danny also won the 400m hurdles in 57.7. The boys had an outstanding day.
